Did you know, since 2015, there has been a 500% increase in the average amount of data our customers use monthly? This is predominantly due to the increase in streaming services available and, as a result, has placed huge demand on our network infrastructure.
As we move into the new decade, we are responding to these changes in internet usage by implementing an increase on data caps and pricing for all plans.
Our 2020 price increase, effective 1 March, allows us to continue investing in our network and new technologies as we demand increases year on year. The expectation gap between rural and non-rural customers has all but closed in terms of internet experience, and here at Lightwire, we are proud to be actively closing that gap.
