As the Covid-19 situation continues to evolve, the Governments managed response is to slow down and limit the spread of the outbreak while also ensuring New Zealanders can continue to access the key services they need. Lightwire has been identified by the Government as a business that provides a critical service (internet) to New Zealanders, meaning we can continue to operate under the Governments Close Contact Exemption Scheme. What can you expect from us?
At all phases of the Covid-19 response, our Service Technicians will continue with new installs and complete any reactive maintenance work. We will advise you if the Service Technician visiting your property is an exempt worker under the Close Contact Exemption Scheme.
As our customer, we value your right to request that we reschedule the visit for a later date if you are not comfortable with our Service Technician entering your property however, we can assure you that we have the following safety protocols in place for both our Service Technicians safety and yours.
- Vaccination requirements – all our Service Technicians are fully vaccinated and will be receiving their booster vaccination when eligible.
- Physical distancing – our Service Technicians will me maintaining a 2m distance
- Masks – all our Service Technicians will be wearing a certified well-fitted medical mask
- Precautionary health measures – daily Rapid Antigen Test, expectation on remaining home if sick (even if they are not related symptoms)
